Before and After Your Appointment

The secret to long-lasting semi-permanent brows and lips is proper aftercare! Follow these steps to get the best and most beautiful results.

When you’re ready to schedule your appointment, please keep in mind you’ll go through a healing process. Plan accordingly, especially if you have a vacation or big events coming up!

  • Appointment Prep

    • Eat! The appointment is about 2-3 hours long depending on your service, so make sure you take care of your needs beforehand
    • Do your regular brow routine so I can see how you do your brow makeup

      Microblading Specific
    • No caffeine for 24 hours and no alchohol for 48 hours before your appointment (these thin out your blood)
    • No strenuous exercise the day of your appointment
  • Aftercare Daily Routine

    I'll provide aftercare products.

    For the first 10 days:

    1. Wash your hands before applying your brow aftercare
    2. Wash your eyebrows once in the morning and once in the evening OVER THE SINK (outside of the shower)
    3. Gently add soap and warm water to each brow and swipe away in the direction of hair growth (no circular motions or rubbing back and forth)
    4. Rinse thoroughly—cup hands with water and rinse by splashing brows until all of the soap is removed
    5. Dry each brow by gently dabbing them with a clean piece of gauze
    6. After drying, apply a ½ grain rice amount of ointment to each brow (do not goop it on)
  • Tips for Proper Healing

    • Do not drench your eyebrows in the shower (wash over the sink)
    • Do not touch, scrub, or pick your brows
    • Do not sleep on your face
    • Do not put any products other than the ointment on your brows for 2 full weeks
    • No facials, botox, or chemical peels for 2-3 weeks
    • Once healed, do not put any active ingredients on them (anti-aging and anti-acne products)

Day 2: Your lips will appear darker, may still be swollen, and feel tight and dry.

Days 3-4: Your skin will start scabbing and flaking, and the color will begin fading. The color will fade 50-60% during the healing process.
